It’s me, hi, I’m Rebeccah Vaclavik, The Marrying Kind. I am an Authorised Marriage Celebrant, qualified to solemnise marriages in Australia according to The Marriage Act 1961. Firstly, congratulations on your engagement! What a wonderful feeling it is to find your forever person. Saying "I do" with an authorised marriage celebrant means you can be legally married with the flexibility to tie the knot, anywhere, anytime - somewhere that is special or significant to you both. It's arguably the most important part of your wedding day, and yet somehow we celebrants often end up an after thought - at the bottom of the vendor list behind photographers, florists, hair, make up, even stationary. But why is that? In my opinion, it's the most magical and most sacred part of your day. ​
You should choose your celebrant carefully and with intention, find somebody that you gel with, someone that speaks your love language. No-one wants a stale, run-of-the-mill ceremony. (I promise) You want a wedding ceremony with flair, something that is unique, and you certainly want your guests engaged and entertained. Something I pride myself on being able to offer. So, it would be my honour to tell your modern day love story. ​

About me
Thank you for considering me to be a part of your special day. You can entrust me to get you wed - from all the legal paperwork to creating a beautiful ceremony that is uniquely YOU. A ceremony with soul. I am based in Tamworth in regional NSW, servicing the New England and North West, but I can travel further upon request.
I may be relatively new to this celebrant gig, BUT I have much experience in creative writing and public speaking. ​I have a degree in communications allowing me a career in PR and broadcast journalism and I am no stranger to the wedding industry, having previously owned and operated a mobile bar business with my hubby, and worked more recently as a wedding and event coordinator. I am “mummy” to two little babes who have been my main focus and source of joy over the past few years. But completing a Certificate 4 in Celebrancy has given me a renewed motivation to get back in the workforce and do something that fills my creative cup. It gets me giddy to be surrounded by so much joy.
What else? I am a social butterfly, I love devouring a good book, I enjoy a quiet cuppa with my husband in the mornings, I love making my kids cackle, I am a hopeless romantic, my favourite colour is pink, I'm partial to a celebration of any kind really (because yay for a glass of bubbles and good vibes), I appreciate an aesthetically pleasing tablescape, I'm obsessed with Mexican (not the fast food kind), I like planning weekends away, long walks on the beach and a glass of wine.

Vow Renewals
Vow renewal ceremonies are a wonderful opportunity for you to recommit to one another, often on a significant anniversary or milestone. No official paperwork is required, just a fun ceremony with your nearest and dearest.
Elopements
Fancy something more intimate? I can also conduct a basic ceremony or elopement, or even just the legal paperwork if you are perhaps tying the knot overseas (lucky ducks).
Not only am I a civil marriage celebrant but I also conduct vow renewals, elopements, and baby naming ceremonies. All of which can be personalised. I will work with you both to ensure you choose the most appropriate and meaningful elements so that your ceremony is a true reflection of you as a couple (or your bub).
